CLEARCorps Detroit (, in partnership with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, has worked to make homes lead safe since 1999. We have worked with more than 20 contractors to abate hundreds of properties in Detroit, thus protecting thousands of young children. Lead poisoning presents a terrible risk to young children and causes learning difficulties, behavior problems, and lowered IQ. Our goal at CLEARCorps Detroit is to protect children’s health while helping make your business successful.

More work than ever before is available to remove lead hazards in homes. With unprecedented funding levels and no end in sight, we need more contractors to handle the volume of abatement work.
