Eliminate Lead Hazards From Your Home
If your home or rental property is built before 1978 and there are children under six years of age or a pregnant woman who lives at the address, you may be eligible for grant-funded lead abatement of your property. This process can involve the installation of new windows, doors, and siding. CLEARCorps Detroit manages the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services Lead Safe Homes Program in the City of Detroit. This program is ongoing, and is open to the public.
